Strike the Blood is an anime series based on a light novel of the same name by Gakuto Mikumo. The story follows Kojou Akatsuki, a high school student who becomes the fourth progenitor, the most powerful vampire in the world. He is pursued by Yukina Himeragi, a sword shaman and observer from the Lion King Organization, who is tasked with monitoring and eliminating him if he becomes a threat. However, as they encounter various supernatural threats and enemies, they form an unlikely alliance and friendship.
